It was such a wonderful and lazy day today. I did my laundry. I went to the grocery store. I watched the Cowboys game. I watched last Tuesday’s episode of NCIS that I had DVR’ed. I also did some crafts. I had some empty shadow boxes laying around so I decided to fill them. I got out all of my crafty stuff and my hot glue gun. All was going well and my shadow boxes were turning out great.
Then…I accidentally hot glue gunned my hair. I was sitting on the floor and placed the glue gun on this small table next to me. Well, as I was looking down at my project, the glue gun slipped off the table and fell onto the back of my head. Where it stayed.
You know how there’s always a glob of hot glue that leaks out the tip of the gun when you set it down. Well, that glob ended up gluing the glue gun to my hair. That sucker dried fast. My first thought was sons of bitches, I’m going to have to cut off my hair. Fortunately, I managed to unglue the glue gun from my hair.
Unfortunately, I was stuck with this mess on the back of my head. I was able to untangle a lot of my hair, but there was still a section that was completely fused together by the glue. I tugged, ripped and pulled. I was able to unstick a lot of my hair, but not all of it.
So, I had to Goo Be Gone my hair. With all the pulling and ripping, I now have extra layers in my hair. This is a typical Sunday for me. Don’t you wish you had my life?
